The autumn season of waterfowl, hoofed mammals and predators hunting starts in Kazakhstan on September 7, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Environmental Protection Ministry. The Ministry writes that 59 species of birds and 34 species of mammals are permitted for hunting, but only at specially dedicated territories of hunting farms. There are 634 of them in Kazakhstan. There are 2,447 gamekeepers in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan fauna protection authorities have 2,103 cars and other vehicles. Over 130 thousand hunters are registered in Kazakhstan. The press-service of the Ministry reminds that hunting for hoofed mammals and brown bear is permitted only in the presence of a gamekeeper or a state inspector on protection, breeding and use of the fauna, who registers the game right after the kill is made. When hunting down a marked (ringed or chipped) bird or mammal, the hunter is supposed to submit information on the date and place of the hunting, as well as the ring, microchip or other markers, to the authorized person of the hunting farm or to the oblast's territorial inspector of the Forestry and Hunting Commission of Kazakhstan Ministry of Environmental Protection.
