Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan is expected to see unstable weather conditions from April 22 to 24, according to the latest forecast by meteorologists.
Unstable weather to return
Atmospheric fronts are expected to bring rain and thunderstorms across most parts of the country. Precipitation, including rain turning to wet snow, is forecast at night in the north, east, and mountainous areas of the southeast.
“Only Aktobe and Kyzylorda regions will remain dry under the influence of an anticyclone ridge. Strong winds are expected across the country, with dust storms in the south and southwest, and fog in some areas during the night and early morning,” the forecast noted.
Temperature outlook
Frost is expected during the night in several regions:
- April 22 and 24 – North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions: down to -3°C
- April 22 – Karaganda region: down to -1°C
- April 22–23 – East Kazakhstan and Abai regions: from -1°C to -8°C
- April 24 – Akmola and Kostanay regions: down to -1…-3°C.
