Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić-Radman in Astana, the Akorda press service reports.
During the talks, Tokayev emphasized that the visit reflects Croatia’s commitment to deepening its partnership with Kazakhstan. He expressed confidence that bilateral relations would continue to develop in a spirit of mutual trust and constructive dialogue.
The President welcomed the growing interest of Croatian companies in the Kazakh market, particularly in the energy, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, and food industries. More than 30 companies with Croatian participation are currently operating in Kazakhstan, including well-known brands such as Pliva and Podravka.
Tokayev also praised the participation of a high-level Croatian delegation in the Kazakhstan–Croatia business forum taking place today. He noted that the agreements reached during the forum are expected to boost trade and investment cooperation between the two nations.
Earlier the same day, President Tokayev also met with General Asim Munir, Commander-in-Chief of Pakistan’s Army.
