Tengrinews.kz – Meteorologists have released a weather forecast for Kazakhstan for April 29 to May 1.
Frost returns
The cyclone that brought rain and thunderstorms to Kazakhstan will soon leave the country. It will be replaced by an anticyclone, which will lead to the end of precipitation and a sharp drop in air temperature.
According to meteorologists, the cold weather will first affect the western regions and then spread to the north, east, and central parts of the country.
Thus, on April 29–30, nighttime frosts are expected in the West Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Aktobe, and Kostanay regions. From April 30 to May 1, subzero temperatures are forecasted in the Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan regions, as well as in the Ulytau and Abai regions.
Earlier, Kazhydromet issued a warning for residents of Almaty, stating that on April 28 the city is expected to experience unfavorable meteorological conditions for air pollution.
