Kazakhstan national team has secured the second big victory in Almaty World Bandy Championship, Tengrinews.kz reports. The host country's team gripped the lead from the very beginning of the match and opened the score on the fourth minute. American players had a chance to attack only by the mid of the first half of the match. They have managed to score a goal on 26th minute. Later on Kazakhstan team continued dominate the ice field and scored five goals in the United States' gates by the end of the first half of the match. The American team managed to attack Kazakhstan gates in the beginning of the second half of the match again. The teems scored two goals each. Then Kazakhstan team showed its masterful playing and scored five more goals. The host country's team won the match 13:3. Aleksey Nikishov, head coach of Kazakhstan team, said that in general he was satisfied with the game and the way Kazakhstan sportsmen played. The weather had a great impact on a match tactics and didn't allow Kazakhstan team to play combinational and quick hockey. However, according to Nikishov, Kazakhstan bandy players managed to use upper handoffs well during the match. The coach said that the main matches are still ahead of Kazakhstan's team in the Championship despite of the big score they got against the American team. Two more matches took place in the A Group of the World Championship on January 30. Russia had a hard-fought victory against Finland: 5:4. Sweden gained an easier victory over Norway 11:0. Kazakhstan team won over Norway team 10:1 in its first match at Medeu Sports Complex in the mountains near Almaty on January 29. National bandy team will play its next match against Sweden on January 31.
