Kazakhstan to host Mixed Martial Arts World Cup in 2012

Kazakhstan will host Mixed Martial Arts World Cup in 2012, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the official website of the National Association of Martial Arts. Athletes from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Russia, South Korea, Tajikistan, China and Ukraine took part in Nomad MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) World Federation's presidium meeting where the decision was made. The World Cup will be held in Karaganda in autumn 2012. Fighters will complete in different types of Martial Arts, including Olympic Martial Arts, as part of the competition. The sportsmen will fight in safety gear to reduce the risk of injury at the event. The video of the previous Nomad MMA competition is available here.
