How much will an LRT ride cost in Astana?

Tengrinews.kz - Astana’s akim (governor) Zhenis Kassymbek responded to a question about the possible cost of a single LRT ride.

During a public meeting with residents of the Saraishyk district, the akim stated that the exact fare for the LRT has not yet been determined.

“Preliminary pricing was in the range of 100 to 200 tenge, and for now, that’s where it stands,” Zhenis Kassymbek said.

Earlier, Kassymbek announced that construction work on the LRT will be fully completed in the summer of 2025.

Other issues discussed during the meeting with residents included courtyard and public space improvements, street lighting, landscaping, public transport accessibility, and the development of social infrastructure.
