Tengrinews.kz – On Thursday, April 17, a phone conversation took place between President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin, according to Akorda.
The two leaders noted the steady development of multifaceted Kazakh-Russian cooperation and discussed the progress in implementing the agreements previously reached at the highest level.
Special attention was given to cooperation in the energy sector. The presidents also exchanged views on current international issues and discussed the schedule of upcoming meetings.
According to the Kremlin, Putin also shared with Tokayev his views on the progress of Russian-American dialogue. The two presidents emphasized the importance of the upcoming 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
