Almaty Central Stadium race track is acknowledged to be the best Central Asian track, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the city's administration press-office. The International Association of Athletics Federations presented a special certificate on the race track's surface compliance with all the technical requirements and Federation standards to the administration of the Stadium. It means that international races may be held at the Almaty Central Stadium. There are only two race tracks, topped with the special covering in the world. The first one was installed in Berlin before the World Athletics Championship in 2009, the second one in Barcelona in advance of Continental Championship in 2010.
