We must make sure the infrastructure is put to use following the EXPO events to benefit the capital city and the people”, President is quoted as saying. He elaborated that the exhibition focusing on green energy of the future is in line with the nation’s strategy to transit to the green economy. ‘The strategy calls for changes in a number of industries; it seeks to put in place a new industry [of developing renewable sources of energy], creating new jobs. When put to practice, the strategy will make a difference for the nation”, head of State said. “We are sticking to a specific plan to make sure the [prep works are done in time. The state committee for EXPO-2017 has been effective to establish an SPV to deal with the prep works. The master file is almost ready (…) due registration proceedings will be complete next year”, Mr. Loscertales said.
