Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev met the UK’s Prime Minister David Cameron in London July 23, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the President’s website. At the talks they once again dwelt on development of the bilateral ties, notably key aspects of further activation of the trade and economic ties, as well as security issues in the region and some issues on the international agenda. Besides, the two sides evaluated the current status of the agreements reached on the state visit of David Cameron to Kazakhstan. David Cameron had paid a visit to Kazakhstan late June. He met President Nazarbayev in Atyrau, an oil-producing city in the West of Kazakhstan, June 30. Among other things he visited the giant Kashagan oilfield and attended the opening ceremony of the Bolashak oil treatment facility in Atyrau oblast.
