Kazakh National Bank issued Olympics-2012 silver coin

Kazakhstan National Bank issued a silver coin called “Weightlifting. The Olympics-2012” of 100 tenge ($0.80) value, the bank's official website reports. As per the National Bank, the coin is made of sterling silver, weighs 31.1 gr and has a diameter of 38.61 mm. The total number of the coins issued is 12 thousand (3 thousand coins for Kazakhstan local market). The coin has Kazakhstan emblem surrounded by the stadium walls on the obverse and a weightlifter on the reverse. Number 2012 is in the left part of the reverse meaning the year of the coming Olympics. The edge is reeded.
