One person died and two were injured in a car accident at the 26th km of Almaty-Bishkek highway in Almaty oblast, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. A Toyota racing at high speed got on the contraflow lane and smashed into Mercedes minibus at around 3.00 p.m., the a source in law-enforcement authorities told the agency. According to the speaker, both cars caught fire. The driver of the Toyota, a young woman, burnt at the wheel of her car. The driver and the passenger of the minibus were delivered to the nearest hospital with light injuries. An investigation was initiated after the accident.
