Armed criminals attacked an oil company’s field camp in Atyrau oblast, MGorod.kz reports. The attack happened at around 3:30 a.m. at night on June 23 in a field camp 20 km off Mukur village. 7 people drove up to the camp on Mitsubishi Montero Sport. They beat up three people (a master, a worker and a guard) and, having found no money, stole mobile phones and personal belongings of the victims. After that the criminals fled the crime site. They were later apprehended by the police. They turned out to be residents of Zhanterek village aged 22 to 26. Police seized a 16-caliber hunting gun from them. They are now kept in a temporary detention center. A pretrial investigation is being made to decide whether a criminal case is gong to be initiated against them.
