Olympic weightlifting champion Svetlana Podobedova is going to get married to her colleague Vladimir Sedov, 2009 world weightlifting champion, Tengrinews.kz reports. “We are going to have a wedding this year,” the athlete said. “Air Astana airlines company have presented us with two tickets to any destination in the world. We haven’t decided where to go yet. The first thing I want to do now is to get enough sleep and to have some rest in the next two months,” Podobedova said. The Olympic champion also said that she was going to visit the lama in Almaty Zoo that was named Svetlana after her (the lama was born on the day the Kazakhstan weightlifting Olympic champion won). “I thought about visiting the animal when I was driving today. I think that as soon as I have some time I will go to the Zoo,” she added. The athlete will start training prior to the World and Asian Championships after some rest.
