Olga Rypakova, Kazakhstan's London Olympic triple jump champion had her pictures taken for the December edition of Khronograph, Afizha.kz reports. The prominent Kazakhstan track-and-field athlete tried on the jewelry from the world's leading producers like Boucheron, Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier. Olga Rypakova turned out to be not only a talented athlete, but also a talented model. Olga’s photographer Vladimir Babkin said that Olga, a high and dashing woman would have had good chances to become popular as a model if see chose modeling instead of sport. Olga was zestful, free and natural during the session. In response to these compliments Rypakova said that model’s work was boring for her. During two days of the photo session she told a lot of stories from her sports career to the photo team. Rypakova started triple jumping completely by chance (at some point she was asked to represent East-Kazakhstan oblast in a triple jump event of one of the Championship of Kazakhstan. As the result Rypakova made a jump that qualified for the World Championship.) She also told her romantic love story and how she met her future husband at a stadium. Olga Rypakova won the sixth gold medal out of seven gold medals that Kazakhstan won at the London Olympic Games. Her latest achievement is the victory in in the final of the Diamond League triple jump competition that was held in Brussels this year.
