Kazakhstan national powerlifting team has proved they are the best Asian powerlifters in Asia by winning the Asian Powerlifting Championship that was held in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Vesti.kz.
Kazakhstan athletes are considered the best powerlifters in Asia. And at the World Championship they are inferior only to the United States' and Russia’s teams. Kazakhstan men’s national team won 30 gold, 17 silver and 5 bronze medals at the Asian Championship. The women’s team won 15 gold, 7 silver and 1 bronze medal.
