Nursultan Nazarbayev received a letter from a French citizen, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan President’s press-service. “The outstanding cyclist Aleksadre Vinokourov is a real role model both for sportsmen and other people. His will, character and courage open up during the intense competitions and his feelings show in his behavior, kindness, natural modesty and love to his family and his home Kazakhstan. A great country raises great people!” Jean Michel Guillon from Aix-les-Bains writes to Nazarbayev. He notes that Aleksandre Vinokourov is distinguished from other sportsmen by his respective attitude to all participants of the tournaments. Thanks to this feature he deserved sincere acknowledgement and love of his colleagues and fans. Jean Michel Guillon also expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan people and its President for creation of the conditions for development of the unique talent of Vinokourov who glorifies his country at the international sports arena. Alexandre Vinokourov of Kazakhstan claimed an unexpected but deserved win in the men's Olympic road race on July 28.
