Nursultan Nazarbayev has addressed all the Kazakhstan diplomats, Tengrinews.kz reports from the expanded meeting of the Foreign Ministry’s top executives.
“Diplomats are the country’s face abroad. That’s why your duty includes and obligations must per performed very professionally and in good quality. You have to always remember that. We all work for our country, the Republic Kazakhstan. We were called here to serve the people and the country. A diplomat’s mission in an honorary and responsible task: representing the county, standing for its national interests and protecting the rights of the fellow countrymen have always been very important for every citizen. Right now it is very important. Being an ambassador is the mission of utmost honor and importance for every diplomat. The ambassador has to meet the highest criteria or not be the ambassador at all. The time imposes special requirement to the diplomats: a combination of knowledge in different areas of politics, economics, high level of professional skills and culture,” the President said.
