China has agreed to procure sunflower oil, honey, pasta and mineral water from Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports. This good news was brought by a group of businessmen from Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region - a Chinese region bordering Kazakhstan, who arrived to Almaty and visited 11 enterprises. According to the Kazakhstan National Agency for Export and Investments Kaznex Invest, they liked the quality and package design of the Kazakhstan goods. "We are now discussing the supplies with each manufacturer in details, especially the procedures that have to be observed to importing them into China," the agency says. Besides, the Chinese buyers are interested in some other goods made in Kazakhstan. Confectionery, wool and medical herbs are among them.
