Tengrinews.kz - Temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced on several streets in Almaty from March 19 to 23.
According to the akimat (local government organisation), the restriction will be introduced on the section of Tole Bi Street from Nazarbayev Avenue to Abylay Khan Street.
In addition, on March 22 from 6 AM to 11:30 AM, Abai Avenue will be temporarily closed from Nazarbayev Avenue to Dostyk Avenue.
The movement of routes No. 16, 37, 48, 126, 201, 205, 206, 209, 210 and 224 will also be changed during this period. The detour around Astana Square will be carried out along Kabanbay Batyr Street in the eastern direction and along Bogenbay Batyr Street in the western direction. Routes #16 and #126 will bypass the section along Gogolya Street.
The city authorities ask that these changes be taken into account when planning routes and that alternative routes be chosen in advance.
