Kazakhstan covers 65.4 percent of children with pre-school education

7,591 pre-school organizations are functioning and are attended by 538.5 thousand children in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov's official website writes citing Education Ministry. “Those 7,591 organizations include 2,591 kindergartens and 5,000 mini-centers. Coverage of children aged 3-6 with pre-school education is 65.4 percent,” the website writes. 2,982 more pre-school organizations for 277.8 thousand children are going to start operating by 2015 as part of Balapan program aimed to create and develop pre-school educational facilities.
