Kazakhstan’s boxers have performed successfully in the prestigious boxing tournament that was held in the Czech Republic, Vesti.kz reports. Ilyas Suleymenov, 52kg boxer, won over China’s Mai Qingxian with the score of 16:10. Adilbek Niyazymbetov (81kg boxer) fought against Netherland’s Peter Mullenberg. The Kazakhstan boxer gripped the lead in the beginning of the tough fight, however the Hollander looked better by the end of the match. Yet the referees awarded Niyazymbetov with the victory on on points – 10:5. Ivan Dychko, a super heavyweight boxer of Kazakhstan, towered over his rival, Armenia’s Armen Simonian, and the Armenian boxer tried to neutralize this advantage by being very active at the ring. Dychko won despite his efforts. As the result, Kazakhstan was ranked first in overall ranking of the tournament.
