Czech cyclist of Astana cycling team Roman Kreuziger could not fly to France fpr Tour de France in time because his flight was delayed, he wrote in his Twitter. “Excellent start of Tour de France! My direct flight was cancelled, but I’m not looking for easy ways. Now I have to spend a long day travelling,” Kreuziger tweeted. The most prestigious multi-day cycling race will be held on July 2-24. Aleksandr Vinokurov known as Vino will lead Kazakhstan's cycling team Astana. This will be the last “Grande Boucle” (big loop) in his career. The team will also include Kreuziger (if he manages to arrive in time), Maksim Iglinskiy, Dmitry Fofonov, Andrey Zeits, Remy di Gregorio, Andrey Grivko, Paolo Tiralongo and Tomas Vaitkus.
