Kairat Lama Sharif has been appointed Kazakhstan Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Tengrinews reports citing the official website of the Kazakhstan President. “Kazakhstan President appointed Kairat Lama Sharif Kazakhstan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United Arab Emirates. Kazakhstan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary Nurbakh Rustemov was appointed Kazakhstan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Serbia and former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in combination,” the message states. Kairat Lama Sharif was the first head of Kazakhstan Agency for Religious Affairs established in May 2011. Prior to that position he combined positions of Kazakhstan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain.
