The export duties on crude oil have changed in Kazakhstan, KazTAG reports. The government decree On amendments to the government decree No.1162 dated September 7, 2012 on amendments to the government decree No.1036 dated October 15, 2005 on the export duties on crude oil and oil goods has been published in the official print media. “Kazakhstan government decrees to make the following amendments to the government decree No.1162 dated September 7, 2012 on amendments to the government decree No.1036 dated October 15, 2005 on the export duties on crude oil and oil goods: paragraphs five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten and eleven of clause 1 shall read as follows: “the duties (in U.S. dollars per 1 ton)”: numbers 164.97, 109.98, 109.98, 109.98 shall be replaced with 168.88, 112.59, 112.59, 112.59,” the document says. The decree comes into effect from the date of the first publishing, on June 18, 2013.
