In Almaty, 475 units of special equipment and 1,115 road workers have been deployed to clear the snow.
According to forecasters, the daytime temperature in Almaty on January 8 will range from 0 to 2 degrees Celsius, dropping after 12 PM to -5 to -7 degrees, and falling further to -11 to -13 degrees at night.
