Finland to use Kazakhstan-made copper rods

A memorandum on supplies of Kazakhstan-made copper rods to Finland was signed during Kazakhstan-Finnish forum on green economy and modernization in Astana attended by Presidents of both countries Nursultan Nazarbayev and Sauli Niinisto, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of the National Agency for Export and Investments Kaznex Invest. “With support of Kaznex Invest the memorandum was signed between Kazakhmys Corporation and REKA Cables on supplies of Kazakhstan-made copper rods to Finland,” the message states. According to the Agency, Kazakhmys corporation produces up to 60 thousand tons of copper rods per year. The first export batch dispatched to Finland will make 10 thousand tons of rods.
