Nazarbayev compared Taraz terrorist with Norway's Breivik

Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev says terrorist attacks in Kazakhstan have no “oreganizational roots” and compares the recent events in the country with the tragic events in Norway, where mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik shot tens of innocent people, Interfax-Kazakhstan writes. “Terrorism is developing around the world. It has manifested itself in Kazakhstan as well. Although, they don’t have any organized roots. We had a case similar to Norway, when one person, a bandit, decided to kill people and himself,” Nazarbayev said in Moscow in the interview to Interfax and RIA Novosti. According to Nazarbayev, “terrorism does not have a front line”. “All countries have to joinly counter it,” Nazarbayev said. 5 officers and 2 local residents were murdered in Taraz in the shooting and suicide bombing of a 34-year-old jihadist, 3 more policemen were injured.
