The first Kazakhstan widescreen sport channel KAZSPORT will start broadcasting on July 1, 2013, the official website of Kazakhstan Media Center writes. Kazakhstan residents will be able to watch sport events, championships and cups of Kazakhstan, international tournaments and games, live interviews with sportsmen and organizers of sport events, original standups and programs about famous sportsmen. Pilot broadcasting of the TV channel will start on June 15. The list of areas that the channel will cover and the format of the broadcasting have not been unveiled yet. Earlier Vesti.kz cited Director of the Strategic Development Department of Kazakhstan Sport Ministry Dariga Kamzebayeva as saying that “KAZSPORT channel will be broadcasting in two languages (Russian and Kazakhstan) 20-hours a day. It will be available in cable and satellite operators' networks and Otau TV satellite network”.
