Nauryz-21 International Festival of New Music will be held in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports. Almaty will host the Festival for the fourth time. It has become a traditional event in both Kazakhstan's and Central Asian cultural life. The organizers of the Festival say that this is a one of a kind event for post-Soviet space. Music of 19th and 20th centuries will be performed by prominent Kazakhstan musicians during the three-day Festival. Besides, musicians from all over the world, whose compositions attract many contemporary music researches will participate in the event. They are Austrian musical bands, Russian, American and Central Asian composers, festival's organizers, producers and conductors. Works of famous Russian composer Yuriy Kasparov will be performed on April 25, in the first day of the Festival. Symphonic, chamber, and instrumental concerts will be part of the program of the Festival. Festival's prominent participants will give master-classes and meet with students and teachers of the National Conservatoire and Almaty musical schools. Classical music concerts will be held on April 25-27 in Kazakh National Conservatoire named after Kurmangazy (Ablay Khan Street, corner of Bogenbay Batyr).
