During the talks the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral ties between the two nations. For the 9 months of 2011 the trade turnover between the two countries grew by 70%, reaching $2.5 billion. Ukraine is the largest trade partner after Russia out of the CIS states. Ukranian PM expressed his admiration for the architecture and development of Astana. “It has been 7 years since I last visited Kazakhstan. The changes in the capital city and in the economy development are truly striking.
