Nursultan Nazarbayev will render an official visit to Belarus, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the official representative of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry Altai Abibullayev. “Special attention will be given to practical steps in enhancement of interaction between Kazakhstan and Belarus in industrial, agricultural, scientific and technical, transport and investment cooperation and effective implementation of the plan of joint activities for 2012-2014,” Abibullayev said. According to the official representative, the presidents of both countries will discuss cooperation under regional integration unions like CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), EurAsEC (Eurasian Economic Community), CU (Customs Union), CES (Common Economic Space) and CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization). The meetings are to result in joint statements and several inter-government agreements. The visit is scheduled for May 12-14.
