A Toyota Carina has caught fire and then exploded in Aktau city, Tengrinews reports referring to Lada local newspaper.
The accident happened on May 25, 2014 at around 2 p.m. near City Centre market in Aktau city.
The owner of the car said that he drove up to the market and saw smoke issuing from under the hood. In a matter of seconds, the car was in flames, the man did not even have time to open the hood.
He had a gas cylinder in the trunk, which exploded when the car caught fire.
The explosion tore the car very badly so that the vehicle could not be restored. No one was injured.
