Light aircraft Bekas-X-32 has crashed on May 28, 2014 at around 10.30 a.m. on the territory of Maliy Dikhan rural area of Uighur district.
The accident occurred while the plane belonging to KazAvia company was spraying fields with chemicals under a contract with the Kazakhstan Ministry of Agriculture.
29-year-old Maksim Titov who was piloting the small airplane was killed in the crash. The causes of the crash have not yet been identified, but KazAvia representatives promised to make a statement after an investigation.
The Prosecutor's Office is checking KazAvia company in relation to the accident.
The Ministry of Transport and Communication is also investigating the details and causes of the crash.
Ukrainian two-seaters Bekas-X-32 have been produced since 1993. Around 220 planes have been produced so far. A total of 10 planes have crashed since the beginning of the production, all of the accidents involved casualties.
