Omsk (Russia) road police seized a truck with five donkeys and two camels, Express K reports. The animals were transported by residents of Russia and Kazakhstan. They had no documents on the animals and could not explain the purpose of their transportation. It is suspected that the animals were transported for sale. The discovered animals were tired and exhausted, as they were starved for a long time. Currently donkeys and camels are in a good condition. Employees of Rosselkhoznadzor (Russian veterinary and phytosanitary control facility) and veterinary department are trying to find an appropriate facility for them. The donkeys may get a new house in the children's ecological-biological center. The zoo agreed for temporary shelter for only one camel.
