March 8 - the International Women's Day - is a very popular holiday in Kazakhstan. And it is a must for every gentleman in the county to congratulate the ladies that are dear to him and to make sure that all the ladies around enjoy the day. Several quite unusual creative ways to make congratulate have been spotted and recorded this year, Tengrinews reports.
Police officers were out in the streets of Karaganda city in central Kazakhstan congratulating ladies. One of them, detector dog handler Shalkar Zhailaubayev was accompanied by his dog, German shepherd Zhikar. Zhikar is two years old. He is a detector dog specializing in explosives.
The beautiful dog was specially trained to present flowers. He was presenting roses holding them in his teeth. And ladies were very excited to receive the flowers.
Another unusual congratulation, the one addressed to mothers, were spotted at the square in front of the Republic Palace (at the crossing of Abay and Dostyk streets) in Almaty. A huge heart, almost as large as the square, was created from rose petals and origami flowers by the city's Youth Policies Department. The word Mama was written in huge letters inside the gigantic heart. The installation was around 200 square meters large and took around 12 thousand origami flowers to make. The authors of the idea say the it was their was to express their respect to all the mothers in the world.
