Kazakhstan residents will have 4 additional days off in March, Tengrinews.kz reports. According to Article 3 of the Law On Holidays in Kazakhstan, the International Women’s Day (March 8) is a bank holiday and a day off in Kazakhstan. Nauryz is also a state holiday and is celebrated from March 21 to 23, inclusively. March 23 is Saturday this year, so, the day off is moved to Monday March 25. “In case a holiday falls on a weekend, the next work day after the holiday shall be considered the day off,” the law states.
