Almaty residents can get customs clearance of their cars in less than 30 minutes in a specialized Service Center, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Almaty Customs Control Department. The car-owners have to have a full package of all the necessary documents to apply to the customs personnel directly. The residents can also apply to customs representatives and clear the cars using customs declarations. After the clearance the cars can also be registered in the same Center. The Customs Control Department says that the service is available for the residents from 09:00 a.m. to 06:30 p.m. on work days with a lunch break from 01:00 p.m. to 02:30 p.m. The specialized Service Center started working on January 10, 2013.
