In Astana on March 20, 2024, during morning rush hours, the average speed on Bogenbay Batyr and Tlendiev Avenues was reduced by 5-12%, and on Turan Avenue - by 13%. In the evening, a decrease in speed was noticeable on Kabanbay Batyr and Turan Avenues, as well as on Korgalzhyn Highway from 5% to 15%.
In Almaty on this day, traffic was slowed on almost all streets by 19-36%, especially on Eastern Bypass Road and Al-Farabi Avenue.
