Tengrinews.kz – A dismembered body of a man was discovered on October 3 in one of the apartments in the Auezov district in Almaty. Information about this appeared on social media. The police have arrested the suspect.

Tengrinews.kz – A dismembered body of a man was discovered on October 3 in one of the apartments in the Auezov district in Almaty. Information about this appeared on social media. The police have arrested the suspect.

According to publications, the 50-year-old victim was a citizen of Russia. His roommate was detained on suspicion of the offence.

Police Department of Almaty has confirmed this information.

"A criminal case has been opened by the Auezov district police department. The suspect has been detained and placed in a temporary holding facility. Other details are being investigated," the department stated.
