Managers of Helios network of fueling stations deny that the company is negotiating a sale, KazTAG reports citing the company's press-service. “Recently media started writing about Helios being on sale. The company's press-service receives dozens of questions from media every day, so Helios officially states that it is not holding any negotiations about selling the fuel stations network whatsoever,” the message says. Besides, the company's management said that currently the company is at the peak of its development and is not planing to stop growing, but instead plans to further expand its network into all the regions of Kazakhstan. Helios currently owns 250 fueling stations and is planning to increase this number to 350 by 2013. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that on March 25, 2011 Deputy Chairman of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund Timur Kulibayev had confirmed that KazMunaiGas had started negotiations to buy Helios fuel stations network. Supposedly the company was planning to purchase Helios network in July 2011.
