Tengrinews.kz - Traveling during pregnancy requires special attention to safety and comfort. Until what period can you travel by train? Are there any restrictions? We found out the answer to this question from the press service of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
As reported by the company, the rules for the transportation of passengers, baggage, over-the-counter baggage, and mail by rail do not provide for special requirements for the travel of pregnant women.
"However, this period requires special attention to the health of the expectant mother and baby. Before purchasing a ticket, it is recommended to consult with your doctor to assess the possible risks. In the late stages of pregnancy, it is better to refuse travel to avoid potential complications. During pregnancy, it is recommended to travel accompanied by loved ones. Conductors are trained in providing first aid, but traveling during pregnancy requires special care and preparation," the press service reported.
Thus, although there are no strict restrictions on train travel during pregnancy, it is important to consider your health, the length of the trip, and the possibility of emergency medical care. Even if you are in good health, it is better to exercise reasonable caution and think through all the nuances in advance.
By the way, according to Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, from 2021 to 2024, 14 babies were born on trains.
