Judo: Abiba Abuzhakynova (48 kg) won the World Grand Prix stage, which ended in the Austrian city of Linz. In the final, she defeated 19-year-old Japanese judoka Sachiyo Yoshino.
Para skiing: Erbol Khamitov won the bronze medal at the World Championships among athletes with musculoskeletal disorders in the Norwegian city of Trondheim.
Chess: Kazakhstani grandmaster Kazybek Nogerbek won the bronze medal at the International Chess Tournament Festival International des Jeux 2025 in Cannes, France.
Artistic gymnastics: At the World Cup stage in the Azerbaijani capital Baku, Dmitry Patanin and Milad Karimi won silver medals, and Zeynolla Idrisov won bronze.
Canoe slalom: At the international ranking tournament THAILAND OPEN in Pattaya, Thailand, Kazakhstani athletes won one gold and two bronze medals.
Futsal: The Kazakhstan national team beat Albania with a score of 4:2 in the next match of the Euro 2026 qualifying tournament.
