Tengrinews.kz - Snowdrops have blossomed in the Almaty Botanical Garden. Representatives of the organization ask Kazakhstanis to take care of the flowers.
The official Instagram account published shots of snowdrops, which we paid attention to.
"Usually these beautiful delicate primroses blossomed in the Botanical Garden in February and even in January, but due to the snowy and long winter, the flowering was a little delayed," the organization said in a statement.

The organization's representative also noted that the meadow of galanthus (the scientific name for snowdrops) is located right in the center of the garden.
"Galanthus is not part of the natural flora of Kazakhstan - these are specially planted specimens. Wild primroses in the foothills of Almaty belong to another species - Alatau crocus. As before, we urge everyone to take care of the plants and remind you that the territory of the Almaty Botanical Garden is a specially protected natural zone of national significance. Special visiting rules apply here. Visitors can admire the flowers, but entering the clearing itself is prohibited," said Bayan Kospenbetova, head of the marketing and PR department of the Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction.
The meadow with snowdrops has already been fenced off to protect the flowers from damage.
"Unfortunately, warning signs do not help, so we have to fence off the meadow to protect the flowers from trampling. We ask for your understanding," added Bayan Kospenbetova.
It is noted that primroses are very vulnerable, so the organization asks to treat them with care, not to walk on lawns and meadows, and especially not to pick flowers.
