Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev recalled the exceptional role of women in the history of our country, according to Akorda.
"It is gratifying that many of our compatriots can serve as true examples of heroism and patriotism. Their names are inscribed in gold letters in the annals of the country's history. The names of the glorious rulers Tomiris and Bopai Khanum, the legendary mothers Domalak Ana, Zere, Ulpan, the heroic daughters of the Great Steppe Aliya, Manshuk and Khiuaz will forever remain in the memory of the people," the Head of State said at a ceremonial meeting dedicated to International Women's Day.
As the President noted, Kazakhstani women harmoniously combine intelligence and beauty, wisdom and insight. Even in the most difficult times, women work tirelessly for the prosperity of the Motherland.
"Of course, the future of the entire nation depends on what the younger generation will be like. By raising a new generation of Kazakhstanis with a developed intellect and a clear mind, you contribute to the progress of our country. Many of Kazakhstan's achievements are due to the hard work of our wonderful girls and women," Tokayev said.
On March 7, Akorda honors women - qualified specialists in various fields who make a worthy contribution to the development of the country. The head of state expressed his sincere gratitude to those gathered.
"You, dear women, fill the world with beauty and harmony, create warmth and comfort in the home. You have a special mission in raising the younger generation, promoting family values. You work conscientiously in all areas, and with your persistent and effective work you strengthen the potential and authority of our state. A happy childhood is possible only in a society where women are surrounded by attention and care. The well-being of the mother and child is the key to the well-being of the state. Therefore, the people looking to the future must create all the conditions for improving the situation of women," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
