Tengrinews.kz - A fraudster who deceived people out of 92 million tenge has been sentenced in the Turkestan region, citing the regional prosecutor’s office.

Tengrinews.kz - A fraudster who deceived people out of 92 million tenge has been sentenced in the Turkestan region, citing the regional prosecutor’s office.

During the trial, the prosecutor fully proved the defendant's guilt.

"In the Turkestan region, between 2023 and 2024, a fraudster deceived 23 victims under the pretext of arranging work visas for employment in South Korea. Through fraudulent means, he obtained 92,020,000 tenge. The fraudster was sentenced to six years in prison, and civil claims from all 23 victims were satisfied," the statement said.

The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
