Tengrinews.kz - The Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan has published an official statement, according to which, temporary traffic restrictions may be imposed on certain sections of roads in Kazakhstan.
As stated in the statement, in connection with the preparation and holding of the military parade in Astana dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the transfer of personnel and movement of military equipment by rail and on their own is planned from March 13.
"There may be temporary traffic restrictions on certain sections of roads in some regions of the country," the Defense Ministry reported.
Also, from April 22 to May 7, there will be short-term restrictions on the use of airspace in Astana for training flights of military aviation, in connection with which changes in the flight schedule are possible. Citizens are advised to check information about flights in advance.
"We ask you to understand the restrictions imposed, refrain from disseminating false information, and contact only official sources," the defense department added.
Earlier, it became known that the Ministry of Defense would temporarily restrict flights over Astana.
