Kazakhstan professional boxer Beibut Shumenov suggested Nathan Cleverly, British WBO (World Boxing Organization) light-heavyweight champion, to hold the match in Las Vegas, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Championat.com. “I was told that Cleverly would like to hold a congregative fight in Las Vegas, and I have suggested such a fight to Nathan. I am from Kazakhstan and he is from the UK, so we could fight in Las Vegas, the capital of boxing, where all great boxing champions are dreaming to spar,” Kazakhstan boxer said. Shumenov (12-1-0, 8 knock outs) who is WBA (World Boxing Association) and IBA (International Boxing Association) world champion challenged Cleverly (23-0-0, 11 knock outs) in November last year. However, the place of the potential fight is not known yet. Beibut held his previous match in Las Vegas as well, where he defended the WBA world champion title by knocking down American Danni Santiago. It happened in July last year.
