Tengrinews.kz – At least 15 people have been injured following the accidental bombing of residential buildings in South Korea.
According to officials, among the injured are two military personnel and two foreign nationals, all suffering varying degrees of injuries.
Initially, reports indicated seven casualties, but the number has since increased.
Details of the incident
Fire department officials stated that two men sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized. Eight others with minor injuries were also admitted to medical facilities. Authorities anticipate that the number of victims may rise as more individuals seek medical attention.

Approximately 50 local residents were evacuated to a city administration building located at a safe distance from the impact zone. The incident occurred on the morning of March 6 during military exercises at the Sincheon training range in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province. The drills involved the South Korean Air Force, including fighter jets F-35A, F-15K, KF-16, and FA-50, ground troops, and American military units stationed in the country.
During the exercise, a KF-16 fighter jet mistakenly dropped eight MK-82 bombs outside the designated training area, striking Nogok village in Pocheon. The bombs caused significant damage to five residential homes, a warehouse, a church, a greenhouse, and a truck. Following the incident, the South Korean Air Force issued an apology.
"We regret the damage caused by the abnormal bomb drop and wish a speedy recovery to those affected. We will take all necessary measures, including compensation for the losses," the statement read.
